More about our founding attorney: William S. Galkin, Esq.

Taming the Legal Side of the Digital Wild West

Our focus is the mundane but critically important details of core commercial transactions in the digital landscape. It’s not always internet outages or nefarious hackers who represent the biggest threat to software and technology companies. Often, it’s the fine print of contracts and transactions.

At GalkinLaw, our lawyers drill down to provide solutions and protection to our clients in corporate formation and transactions, intellectual property law, regulatory compliance, and the development, licensing, transfer and distribution of technology and software. We particularly focus on agreements for online businesses, including software as a service (SaaS), website terms of use, privacy policies, development agreements, affiliate agreements, and rules and compliance for sweepstakes/contests.

A Career in Business and Digital Law

Mr. Galkin is a graduate of the New York University School of Law and has been an adjunct professor of Computer Law at the University of Maryland School of Law and Business Law at the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore.
